A quick note to strengthen and encourage you…

We find ourselves in an unprecedented time as leaders. I hope these few thoughts will strengthen and encourage you today.

As our children were growing up, my wife and I learned a valuable leadership lesson.

The states where we lived are known for ferocious thunderstorms every spring and summer. In the middle of the night, whenever these storms would wake up our children, their uncertainty and anxiety would drive them into our room. Inevitably, my wife and I would wake up in the morning with our son and daughter between us.

The leadership principle is this: when uncertainty and anxiety are present, people will run to a PERSON or to a PLACE where they feel safe. In some cases, as with our bedroom for our children, people can find BOTH.

In these uncertain times, the anxieties of people in our country and around the world are increasing with each passing day.

Your credibility, influence, and integrity as a leader make you a PERSON that others (your family, team, customers, and friends) will run to. They won't be seeking answers; they will simply be looking for comfort.

In other cases, because you and your organization are known for your ethos of service, excellence, and reliability, people will come to you when they are looking for a PLACE where they can find safety – not just physical, but social and emotional as well.

But we know that leaders need to feel safe as well.

That’s why at Teamalytics, we want to let you know that we are here for you.

Each of us on the team wants to be a PERSON you can call or reach out to when your anxieties and uncertainties increase and you need a listening ear.

We want Teamalytics to be a PLACE where you can find strength and encouragement, not just in turbulent times, but always.

Thanks for allowing us to serve you.

With warmest regards,
